For the second year in a row, Tohu Single Vineyard Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has been named in Fines Wines of New Zealand – an annual list of the country’s most prestigious wines. Tohu is produced by Māori-owned family business, Kono.

“Last year our 2016 release made the list. We are thrilled the 2017 release has been recognised in 2018 as being among the best of the best, particularly as the judging panel’s criteria includes provenance and excellence in winemaking over several releases,” Bruce Taylor, Kono’s Chief Winemaker says.
“This sauvignon blanc is a single vineyard wine from Marlborough’s Upper Awatere Valley,” Bruce Taylor, Kono’s Chief Winemaker says. “We’re really pleased that some of New Zealand’s leading wine experts acknowledged the unique characteristics of our wine made in a special sub-region of Marlborough,” Bruce says.
