Yali wines are produced by Viña Ventisquero, a leading Chilean wine producer that is green at heart, and has a very nurturing nature!
Named after central Chile’s most important ecosystem – the Yali Wetland, situated in the same valley as the winery and home to 25% of the different bird species in Chile. With 14 rivers filtering into lagoons, estuaries and reservoirs, the area is considered unique in the world.
Long (over 4,300km), thin and bordered by two mountains ranges, Chile is an amazing country which lends itself perfectly to the production of different styles of wine thanks to its wide range of climatic conditions and soils. In just 11 years, Viña Ventisquero – the winery behind the Yali brand – has come to be regarded as one of the leading producers in Chile. It owns vineyards in Chile’s key wine producing regions – Casablanca, coastal Maipo, Apalta and Lolol vineyards in Colchagua Valley – and its dynamic and charismatic Head Winemaker Felipe Tosso specialises in crafting wines that are the true expression of the area they come from.
Sustainability and a deep respect for the environment are at the heart of the Yali philosophy.
