Family-owned GranMonte Vineyard and Winery is Thailand’s leading wine producer and the representative of Thai wine’s true potential. GranMonte’s international award-winning wines are made from 100% estate-grown wine grapes by in-house oenologist Nikki Lohitnavy. The 40-acre vineyard, owned and operated by the Lohitnavy family, is situated in the foothills of the UNCESCO World Heritage Khao Yai National Park.
GranMonte began from the passion of Mr Visooth Lohitnavy for wine and his strive to better both the science and art of winemaking in Thailand. By GranMonte’s viticultural R&D combined with pure tenacity, the vineyard is now an established home to several grape wine varieties not grown anywhere else in Thailand, such as Grenache, Durif, Verdelho, and Viognier, with many more to come. GranMonte is also a focused and exclusive destination for oenotourism to share its knowledge of viticulture and winemaking in Thailand, and to warmly welcome visitors to the peaceful Asoke Valley surrounded by the beautiful Khao Yai mountain ranges.
GranMonte works hard to earn its reputation and is fully committed to producing Thai wines of only the best quality and class. Its wines come from the finest and freshest estate-grown grapes, and GranMonte’s innovative winemaking techniques capture all the important aromas and tastes that set its products apart. GranMonte’s viticulture and winemaking techniques are tailored to suit the soil and climate conditions particular to Thailand. The family vineyard prides itself on its sustainable practices which are necessary for producing excellent quality wine grapes, as well as to help preserve Khao Yai’s natural environment and ensure the health and safety of workers.
