Quady Winery is the only California winery to specialize in sweet and aperitif wines. It was established in 1975 by couple Andrew and Laurel Quady as they pursued their passion for sweet wines and desire for a non-urban way of life.
Andrew made a name for himself in the ’80s as the muscat king by introducing first Essensia, an Orange Muscat varietal and then Elysium, made from Black Muscat. These two aromatic and intense wines broke new ground in the dessert wine field, and today are used behind the bar as high quality cocktail enhancers for signature cocktails. Andrew then introduced Electra, the first U.S. moscato; Deviation, an aromatized dessert wine.
Quady Winery was awarded USA Wine Producer of the Year for the best overall results in the International Wine and Spirits Competition in 2009.
